The first thing you will notice as you approach 512 Roanoke Ave in loch Lynn heights is the towering maple trees lining the street. (In early spring they provide syrup for a lucky few!) Framing this post-card perfect snap shot is a park on either side. The Loch Lynn Wetlands Trail is the beating heart of the neighborhood, and the Loch Lynn Community Park and Pavillion hosts the annual town picnic; better get to the corn on the cob before the mayor does! The “Fields of Heather” painted siding pops against the green lush lawns surrounding the home on all sides. Pull in to the ample gravel parking and you will be treated to peonies, lilac, Japanese maple, hostas, lilies, daffodils, tulips, irises, ivy, rhododendron, oregano, mint and parsley, to name a few! The back lawn curves around a dry creek stumpery. Bridging a black cherry and white oak is the hammock, nestled above the forsythia, at the ready to sway your cares away. Beyond the twin red oaks is a small compost garden. A fire pit stocked with Western Maryland’s finest hardwood is waiting to host memories old and new. Once inside, you may find yourself yearning for the quiet, grounding comfort provided by the wood stove on Italian porcelain tile hearth. Enjoy the convenience of cold dispensed filter water, cubed and crushed ice from the stainless smart fridge, complimented by the stainless smart range, and stainless dishwasher, all less than 1-2 years old. In the spacious utility room you will find a smart washtower, and brand new 50 gal hot water tank, and a large mop sink with an updated fixture. One large bedroom with new half bathroom can be found tucked beyond the hallway. Large built-in twin closets provide generous storage. A second bedroom across the hall has amazing natural light. It is primed and ready for your personal touch. Between is the bathroom with tub shower. The home has central air and electric forced heat, two ceiling fans, 3 exhaust fans, outdoor hose spigot, and storage shed with electric. FIOS available. Public water sewer trash paid quarterly.
